I’m just a 30-something wife, mother and millennial woman trying to make it in this world, sober.
By nature, I'm a writer and journaling has always been something that's helped me to explore what's really going on inside my brain. I hash out the good, the bad and the ugly in an attempt to gain new insights, understanding and to keep a record to look back on.
The moment I decided to say goodbye to alcohol, I said hello to a new journal. I haven't kept one in forever, but I knew that I needed one to help me process what's going on during this process. And what a process!
By cracking open the pages of my brutally honest and unfiltered recovery journal, I hope to help at least one other person out there who may need it.
